Doubt by James Belflower

Poetry, Vol. 1.1, June 2007

The wind picked up overnight
dragging clouds to the moon

I remember the leaves
chattering in pockets of wakefulness
you had the blankets
to your ears

I believe it’s the wind
moving all this
it must
be it
must be

men in the medians with blowers
are useless
